Investment Professional at CapMan Real Estate

As an Investment Professional, you will be involved in sourcing, evaluating, and executing real estate investment opportunities across Sweden. As part of the investment team, you will contribute to the development and execution of investment strategies for existing and future funds, with a focus on identifying opportunities that create long-term value.

This hands-on role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle. Success means quickly taking ownership of your own analyses, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines, and growing into a trusted contributor whose judgement the team relies on.

You will work closely with experienced investment and asset management professionals and collaborate across CapMan's wider Nordic Real Estate platform, as well as with external advisors, brokers and financing partners.

The position is based in Stockholm and reports to the Head of Transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Sourcing and screening investment opportunities across all sectors, but with a primary focus on the residential sector.
• Working across all aspects of deal execution, collaborating effectively with internal and external legal, technical, tax and financial experts.
• Responsible for modelling, preparing documentation and collecting data in sale and buy processes.
• Preparing investment memorandum and presenting cases to the Investment Committee.
• Preparing market research and monitoring macroeconomic developments and real estate market trends in Sweden and the Nordics.
• Supporting the Asset Management team on business development projects.
• Building and maintaining relationships with brokers, advisors and other market participants. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SUITABLE BACKGROUND 

• University degree (MSc) preferably in real estate, finance, law or any other relevant field.
• 3-5 years relevant full-time work experience, e.g. from real estate private equity, investment banking, institutional or private real estate investors or transaction advisory.
• Experience from the residential real estate investment market is considered a merit.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel (cash flow modelling, IRR and NPV calculations), Word and PowerPoint.
• Communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
• High personal drive, a willingness to deliver high quality, being committed and dedicated. Strong interpersonal skills, team player and ambitious. Professional attitude with high work ethics and energy, flexible style and the ability to work under pressure and deliver results both independently and in teams.
